Ok so I've written a few songs and I'd like to have them heard/played somewhere.
I spoke with a man who gave several songs to a "promoter" in Nashville s few years back who was very excited about producing them.
Unfortunately the "Promoter" hired a "song plugger/modifier", slightly changed his songs around, had someone record them and just plain STOLE his work!!
When the "promoter" was confronted he told this guy to "go ahead and sue him"
Gee what a great business!!!
Are there any honest people around??
How to you find them??

i just wanna hear my songs when i wanna hear them!!!

My Biggest Fear is: Not knowing what genre to pic.
I have my own style that crosses every Genre of all my years of writing not one of my songs sound alike. They are so different even from each other.
Although I have a main theme I wish to base from.My songs contents from A-Z .I don't have one particular style and I am concerned that I might be too versatal to market.
I also write about subjects that no one else has wrote about Or with a unique bend and I fear just throwing them around until someone is ready to hear the whole package.

Dear Sir:
I wrote to you befor, about receiv-ing royalties if my songs do sell and do good. After the money is earned, the song writer & singer should never send money up front, these are all fact in this professional promoters & musical business, that what a Patent Lawyer told me and some promoters told me also. Then we cold work out a musical contract with you. Perhaps those who are getting no airplay from these stations, should reconsider if their actual recordings are even worthy of said airplay!? Just a thought!

Any bands who do rock, dance, or darkwave and possibly Dubstep can be played on Anonymous Radio. You can be played for free as long as you agree to a few things. 1. Let us play your music without royalte fees sence we would be providing you our service for free and promoting you for free. 2. support anonymous radio by linking it to your site or embedd the station to your site, iether way would be exepted. 3. must not contain anything racial or discriminating in the content you want played. you can contact us on our facebook if you want on our station. <a>http://www.facebook.com/anonymousglobalnetwork<a>

Do you have a listing for indie Christian artists?
Posted @ Saturday, February 04, 2012 10:52 PM by Laura Principato
In my experience many factors dictate whether or not original unsolicitated music is aired on radio. The first obstacle is getting their attention. They get demos by the bag load weekly, some may be auditioned. As a rule of thumb (and this is also true of record labels),if they do not like anything in the first 25 seconds of the track it is binned. If they do like it the sound quality must be good enough to withstand the compression of airplay. If the artist or band do not have a release or an outlet inwhich any listeners might want to hear more then again the station might not bother.I have found that contacting them in a mannerly way (say for instance from a facility on their website)will get ignored. You must be prepared to follow-up original request with stronger language(i.e.questioning why they have a contact facility on the homepage if they do not respond to queries) but to what lengths one goes within those suggestions is entirely up to the individual but give it a week between contacts.Eventually you will make contact and be given a postal address and stage one attained.Remain in healthy contact once tune has been sent, asking when it will be played keeps them near the communication fire, all nice and warm! After airplay what then? .....
